Honours with Atmosphere and Environment Option (75 credits)

The Atmosphere and Environment Chemistry Option of Honours in Chemistry consists of the requirements for Honours in Chemistry with replacement of 2 credits of PHYS 242 with 3 credits of CHEM 219. Additionally, 6 complementary credits of Chemistry at the 300 level or higher and 6 credits at the 400 level or higher should be replaced by CHEM419, and CHEM462, plus 3 credits from ATOC 214, CHEM 307, CHEM 352, or MATH 317, plus 6 credits chosen from the following: ATOC 315, ATOC 412, CHEM 567, CHEM 575, CHEM 597, or EPSC 542.

Attainment of the Honours degree requires a CGPA of at least 3.00.

 

Majors with Atmosphere and Environment Option (63 credits)

The Atmosphere and Environment Chemistry Option of Major in Chemistry is the 53 credits of Required Courses with replacement of 2 credits of PHYS 242 with 3 credits of CHEM 219. Additionally the following courses were added: 3 credits from CHEM419, and CHEM462, plus 3 credits from ATOC 214, CHEM 307, CHEM 352, or MATH 317, plus 3 credits chosen from the following: ATOC 315, ATOC 412, CHEM 567, CHEM 575, CHEM 597, or EPSC 542.
