Honours with Bio-Organic Option (75 credits)
The Bio-organic Option of Honours in Chemistry consists of
the requirements for Honours in Chemistry with replacement of PHYS 242
by BIOL 200 and BIOL 201, and replacement of the 6 complementary credits
of Chemistry at the 300 level with 6 credits chosen from the following:
BIOL 202, BIOL 301, CHEM 502, MIMM 211, MIMM 314, MIMM 323, PHGY 201,
PHGY 202, PHGY 209A, PHGY 210B.
Attainment of the Honours degree requires a CGPA of at least
3.00.
Majors with Bio-Organic Option (63 credits)
The Bio-organic Option of Major in Chemistry consists of the
requirements for Majors in Chemistry with replacement of PHYS 242 by BIOL
200, BIOL 201, and CHEM 502, and replacement of the complementary credits
with 3 credits chosen from BIOL 202, BIOL 301, MIMM 211, PHGY 201, PHGY
202, PHGY 209, and PHGY 210.
Attainment of the Major degree requires a CGPA of 2.00.
